Terms of Service

Effective date: 25 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Twosday ("the app"), provided by Twosday App Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17540701) ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

What Twosday Is

Twosday is a relationship journaling app that uses AI to help couples reflect individually and communicate together. It is designed for proactive relationship care.

What Twosday Is Not

Twosday is not therapy. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, couples counseling, or crisis intervention. The AI facilitator is not a licensed therapist. If you or your partner are in crisis, please contact a mental health professional or crisis helpline.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Twosday. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may only create one account per person.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to harass, threaten, or harm your partner or anyone else.
• Attempt to manipulate the AI to produce harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
• Use Twosday’s AI for anything other than what it’s for: reflecting on yourself and your relationship. It isn’t a general-purpose assistant, so don’t use it for unrelated tasks or questions, such as writing code, homework or general research.
• Try to get around Twosday’s safeguards or limits, or to make its AI reveal its instructions.
• Use the app for any illegal purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
• Share your account credentials with others.

Privacy

Your use of Twosday is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

AI-Generated Content

The AI facilitator and private agent generate responses based on your input and relationship context. These responses are:

• Not professional advice (medical, legal, therapeutic, or otherwise).
• Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.
• Generated by a third-party AI model (Anthropic’s Claude), which Twosday guides with its own instructions, and subject to the limitations of that technology.

Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of the content you create or add in Twosday: what you write, and your photos and voice memos. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only to run Twosday for you: to show it to you, to share what you choose to share with your partner, and to have our service providers, listed in the Privacy Policy, process it on our behalf.

If you say yes to Model improvement, you also give us permission to use what you write, with your name and the details that identify you taken out, to train and research the AI behind Twosday. A conversation you have with your partner is used only if you both said yes. You can turn it off at any time in Settings, and nothing you write is used from then on.

What you share with your partner, such as Memories and your conversations together, stays available to them as the Privacy Policy describes, including after your relationship ends.

We keep ownership of the app, its design, and its code. AI-generated content (summaries, context documents, facilitator responses) is provided as part of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time via the Delete Account option in Settings.

Limitation of Liability

Twosday is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to relationship outcomes, emotional distress, or reliance on AI-generated content.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
